Cascade - H
Project Description
The Cascade House embodies a seamless blend of thoughtful design, spatial efficiency, and natural harmony. Rooted in Vastu Shastra principles, the home fosters a balanced flow of energy, bridging tradition with contemporary living. A cascading waterfall at the entrance defines its identity, flowing from the first floor into a serene pool below. Beyond its aesthetic charm, this north-facing water feature symbolizes prosperity while offering a tranquil retreat from Northern India’s heat. Visitors are welcomed by a striking 10-foot veneer-clad door, reminiscent of historical grandeur, leading into a central foyer that reveals the home’s openness across multiple axes.
Designed for both communal gatherings and private retreats, the ground floor integrates the kitchen, living, and dining spaces into an open layout, fostering effortless movement. Given the family's tradition of hosting, a spacious guest room ensures comfort for visiting loved ones. A sculptural staircase gracefully spirals upwards, serving as a visual and functional anchor. The first floor is dedicated to the family’s private quarters, with bedrooms opening to a serene terrace garden. High ceilings and expansive glass windows amplify natural light and ventilation, reinforcing the home’s sense of openness. The Cascade House is more than a residence—it is a sanctuary where tradition, modernity, and nature converge in perfect harmony.
