Project Description
The Milash residence, designed for a nuclear family, effortlessly blends tranquility with scenic beauty, creating a peaceful retreat with a view of the waterfront. The open-plan design connects every room to the surrounding water body, blurring the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors. Extended patios and thoughtful openings allow natural light to flood the interior, creating a harmonious relationship with the landscape. The entrance foyer, with its double-height space, serves as a welcoming volume that invites ample sunlight, setting the tone for the home’s balance of warmth and modern design aspirations.
The water body plays a central role, guiding the experience throughout the house as it elegantly weaves through the property, complementing the rich materials of marble and wood. Its presence enhances every space, from dawn to dusk, creating a serene backdrop. The design achieves a perfect blend of privacy and openness, with varying levels of seclusion in each room. A wrapping motif dissolves the corners of spaces, allowing for panoramic views through corner-wrapped fenestration. The result is a cohesive layout that flows seamlessly, answering the client’s need for both seclusion and a direct connection to the outside world.
