Shibhumi
Project Description
Breathing new life into an aging villa, this residential transformation seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary sensibilities. Retaining its signature arched brick façade, the design extends the existing structure with complementary elements, enhancing both function and aesthetic appeal. Earthy materials, including stone pavers and subtle landscaping, establish a refined exterior palette. A covered porch introduces a seamless transition into the home, while a grand arched entrance sets the tone for an interior that prioritizes restrained elegance and soft, organic forms.
Inside, the home embraces a serene ambiance with a curated blend of traditional and modern farmhouse influences. Floral patterns and natural textures evoke the essence of an Indian summer, creating a refreshing retreat. A standout feature is the thoughtful preservation of antique furniture, which remains central to the design narrative. Meticulously restored, these vintage pieces lend the space a rich sense of history, seamlessly integrating with contemporary accents to craft a timeless and inviting home.
