Project Description

Stepping Green House is a visionary design that seeks to create an urban living space harmoniously integrated with nature. The design focuses on layering functional blocks, arranged diagonally from low to high, with spaces left open for gardens and fishponds. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also regulates light, airflow, and sun exposure, while providing diverse views from various points within the house. Each block features a green rooftop, contributing to a continuous terraced garden that visually unifies the building and its surroundings.

The layout of the house is thoughtfully divided into three levels: the first floor houses the common living spaces, including the living room, dining, and kitchen; the second floor contains private rooms; and the third floor is dedicated to relaxation, with an altar room and a rooftop garden offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The central facade is characterized by continuous ribbon windows, providing a sweeping view and emphasizing the architectural form. This design approach expands garden areas while maintaining privacy, creating a seamless connection between the interior and nature. The result is a modern residence that redefines the concept of urban living, replacing traditional concrete structures with interconnected green spaces that foster interaction between people and their environment.
