Project Description
The residence, spanning four levels on a 216m² plot, features a functional and thoughtful layout, with each floor serving distinct purposes while maintaining convenience and flow for the inhabitants. The design utilizes a harmonious blend of white and brown wood tones, with solid wood surfaces, beestones, and glass elements creating an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. These materials not only enhance privacy and safety but also create a dynamic play of light and shadow throughout the day as the sun interacts with the architectural features, adding depth and texture to the home’s experience.
On the first floor, the living room and kitchen share an open-plan space, seamlessly connecting to the front and back yards, which visually expand the home’s footprint. The kitchen island serves as a central element, while the dining area is positioned between the kitchen and seating spaces. The second-floor bedrooms and third-floor reading room are bathed in natural light, thanks to strategically placed sky wells with glass and wood surfaces on the rooftop. These design features ensure that light permeates the home, creating a serene ambiance, with the roof shading carefully designed to filter sunlight and cast artistic streaks of light, further enriching the space.
