This innovative abode is an intervention designed to fit seamlessly into a dense urban environment, nestled within a triangular plot that presents sharp angles at two of its corners. The site is surrounded on all sides by the bustling city fabric, with two edges facing busy roads and a building encroaching on the third. The terrain slopes gradually from west to east, with the highest point at the western corner. The design responds to the tight urban context with a monolithic structure that towers above, protecting the interiors with an imposing, armor-like profile. The northern facade is shielded with corten steel sheeting, giving the building a fortress-like quality, while exposing a terrace on top that adds a striking element of openness.

The building’s design is characterized by a sense of levitation, with its main bulk raised above street level to create stilt parking at ground level. The terrace level is topped with a sharp, angled concrete slab, enhancing the structure’s finesse. The façade features raw, unfinished concrete bands juxtaposed with the striking red hues of perforated corten steel, which form a protective veil along the north side. The interior layout is divided into two distinct activity zones, each extending from a central double-height living space and stairwell. The western wing houses a bedroom with an attached bath, while the eastern wing accommodates the kitchen, dining area, and a spill-out terrace, creating a dynamic flow of space both vertically and horizontally within the building.
