Our refund and return policy ensures a smooth and transparent process for our clients in case of any discrepancies or dissatisfaction with our services. 1. Project Cancellation
1.1. Cancellation before the commencement of the project: If you wish to cancel the project before the start date or before any work has begun, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of signing the contract. A cancellation fee of 10% of the total project cost will be charged to cover the expenses incurred during the project initiation process.
1.2. Cancellation after the commencement of the project: If you wish to cancel the project after it has started, you must notify us in writing. The refund amount will be determined based on the percentage of work completed, materials procured, and other expenses incurred. A cancellation fee of 20% of the total project cost will be charged to cover the expenses incurred during the project.
2. Defective Work or Materials
2.1. In the event of defective work or materials, Decofice Technologies Private Limited must be notified in writing within 30 days of the defect discovery. We will inspect the issue and, if deemed necessary, repair or replace the defective work or materials at our expense.
2.2. If the defect is found to be due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorised alterations made by the client or a third party, no refund or replacement will be provided.
3. Returns
3.1. As a construction and design company, we do not accept returns of any materials or products once they have been installed or incorporated into the project.
3.2. Any return requests for unused materials or products must be made within 7 days of delivery and are subject to a restocking fee of 15%. The client will be responsible for the cost of shipping and handling for the returned items.
4. Refunds
4.1. All approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of the refund request.
4.2. Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. If the original method of payment is unavailable or expired, an alternative method will be arranged.
5. Exceptions
5.1. Customized or special-order products are non-refundable and nonreturnable.
5.2. In cases where a dispute arises, both parties agree to resolve the issue through arbitration or mediation before resorting to legal action.
5.3. Decofice Technologies Private Limited reserves the right to withhold refunds or replacements in cases where the client has not adhered to the terms and conditions of the contract, including payment schedules, providing necessary information, or obtaining required permits.
6. Force Majeure
6.1. Decofice Technologies Private Limited shall not be held liable for any failure to perform or delays in the completion of the project due to unforeseen events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions or failure in timely payments. In such cases, we will work with the client to find a suitable resolution, which may include the extension of deadlines or renegotiating contract terms.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1. All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to designs, drawings, plans, and specifications created by Decofice Technologies Private Limited for the project, shall remain the property of Decofice Technologies Private Limited. The client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the intellectual property solely for the purpose of the project. Any unauthorised use or reproduction of the intellectual property without the prior written consent of Decofice Technologies Private Limited is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Decofice Technologies Private Limited’s total liability for any claims, losses, or damages arising from the project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the services provided.
8.2. Under no circumstances shall Decofice Technologies Private Limited be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, or any other damages resulting from the client’s use of or inability to use the services provided.
9. Warranty
9.1. Decofice Technologies Private Limited warrants that the construction and design services provided will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of project completion, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
9.2. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, unauthorized alterations, or improper maintenance by the client or a third party.
10. Insurance
10.1. Decofice Technologies Private Limited carries professional and general liability insurance to protect the company and its clients from potential risks associated with construction and design projects. Clients may request proof of insurance coverage at any time.
